Dolly tips to keep in mind

Secure your tripod to the Axis Dolly

The small bungee with the knob provided on the Axis Dolly legs are mainly for securing tropod legs
from sliding around the spreader cups. They do provide enough holding strength for some applications,
but if you are using the Axis Dolly for professional applications I strongly suggest you use one of the
following options for securing the tripod to the Axis Dolly.

You have two options for securing your tripod to the Axis Dolly.

1) If your tripod has threaded feet, remove the spreader cups from the dolly and secure the tripod
to the dolly using a bolt through each of the dolly legs into the botom of the tropod legs.

2) Use three bungee cords (usually 48 inches each) to secure the tripod to the dolly.
This is the easiest way to secure the tripod to the dolly
I find it very rare I use a different configuration.

bungee 01

bungee 02

Strtap the bungee cord around the top of the bottom section of the tripod leg
Use this meathod to minimize outward pressure on the leg.
This also keeps the bungee cord from interfering with the leg lock.

bungee 03

Attach ends of bungee cords to spreader cup.

bungee 04

The bungee cords should run down the length of the tripod leg
insuring even pressure down the length of the leg.
